About Ekya
Ekya is a community of children, educators, and parents where everyone learns together. Drawing on the 34-year educational legacy of the CMR Group of Institutions and the innovative methods of school systems around the world, our learning model goes beyond conventional norms. We apply interdisciplinary skills to think differently and solve real-world problems. Inspired by the Sanskrit word “Aikyam”, which stands for oneness, the word Ekya evokes the ideals of community, collaboration, individuality, and unity.
We aim to empower young minds to make a difference in the world.

Our Culture
At Ekya Early Years, our culture is defined by a commitment to care and respect. Each day starts with warm greetings, where students and staff make eye contact, shake hands, and share smiles. This practice sets a positive tone, building strong relationships and a supportive environment. We also incorporate affirmations into our daily routines, celebrating unique abilities and fostering a sense of self-worth. These affirmations appreciate each other’s strengths and positive qualities. We start our school day with a morning assembly, cultivating a sense of connection and community. This emphasis on a positive, safe, and inclusive community is pivotal to effective learning and personal growth.
Our Curriculum
Ekya Early Years prioritise a deep love for learning, conceptual clarity, and real-world skills in our in-house curriculum, designed based on the Understanding by Design (UbD) Framework. This approach, benchmarked against international standards, ensures understanding is the key to learning. Our guiding principles are ‘Learn, Think, Do’.
Our Students are Engaged
At Ekya Early Years , we nurture curious and caring children through engaging programs like our Outbound Learning Trips, where students explore their surroundings and create lasting memories. Our Well-Being Program emphasises social, emotional, and ethical development, ensuring every student feels seen, heard, valued, and supported. We provide essential emotional support to help students navigate challenges in school and life. Also we celebrate Special Days and Events for enriching cultural experiences and inspire a love for reading through our Love to Read Program.
