Montessori

The Montessori program is structured as a comprehensive learning journey designed to support and nurture children’s development from ages 2.5 to 6 years. The program consists of distinct stages, each tailored to the developmental needs and readiness of the children as they progress. Children can join our Montessori program at any level and receive an incredible experience tailored to their current stage of development and readiness.

Montessori Beginners Program

The Montessori Beginners Program is designed to introduce young children aged 2.5 to 3 years to the foundational principles of the Montessori Method.The Beginners Program provides a simple and engaging environment that supports children’s natural development and learning. Children engage in a variety of activities that promote practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, and early numeracy.

Montessori Sub-Junior Program

The Montessori Sub-Junior Program is designed for children aged 3 to 4 years, building upon the foundation established in the Beginners Program. This Program focuses on reinforcing foundational skills, introducing more advanced concepts, and fostering independence and self-confidence. Children engage in a variety of activities that promote practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, mathematics, and cultural studies.

Montessori Junior Program

The Montessori Junior Program is designed for children aged 4 to 5 years, building upon the foundation established in the Sub-Junior Program. The Junior Program focuses on reinforcing foundational skills, introducing more advanced concepts, and fostering independence and self-confidence. Children engage in a variety of activities that promote practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, mathematics, cultural studies, and the Quest Program, our in-house inquiry program.

Montessori Senior Program

The Montessori Senior Program is designed for children aged 5 to 6 years, building upon the foundation established in the Junior Program. The Senior Program focuses on reinforcing foundational literacy and numeracy skills, introducing more advanced concepts, and fostering independence and self-confidence. Children engage in a variety of activities that promote practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, mathematics,  and the Quest Program, our in-house Quest Program.

Transition to Grade 1

The transition between each program is designed to be seamless and gradual, ensuring children are well-prepared for the next stage. As children near the end of each program, they engage in higher-level activities that reinforce foundational concepts and prepare them for upcoming challenges. This progression ensures each child moves to the subsequent program based on their readiness and developmental milestones. By the end of the four-year Montessori program, children will have a strong foundation in various skills, a deep appreciation for learning, and be well-prepared for the next stage of their learning journey at Ekya Schools.
